This will be a very exciting Fall with the Kootenay Valley Community Complex Expansion Project slated to go to referendum on Saturday, October 23, 2010. Be sure to attend one of our Community Open Houses or stop by the Recreation Office for your information package.

Community Complex & Aquatic Centre Expansion Project
On October 6, 2010, the Kootenay Valley will be asked to approve a referendum regarding the expansion of the Kootenay Valley Community Complex.
- Addition to the Leisure Pool with lazy river and other fun water features
- Renovated and enlarged fitness area
- Upgrades to the existing Arena acoustics and arena seating
- Additions and upgrades to the Conference and Banquet Facilities
- Kitchen Upgrade
Information packages are available at the the Kootenay Valley Recreation Department. This information will assist you in making an informed decision.
Kootenay Valley Community Swim Competition
July 15-17, 2011
The Annual Kootenay Valley Swim Competition will be jointly hosted by the Kootenay
Valley Swim Club July 15-17, 2011. With the support of the Kootenay Valley Recreation Centre and many supporting business sponsors in the Kootenay Valley, we look forward to welcoming as many as 300 swimmers to our community. We would like forward to sharing the Kootenay Valley "Spirit" with the competitors, their families, and spectators!
